Beeswax candle burn times

There is nothing like a pure beeswax candle to provide warmth and glow to your home. They are an age-old way of providing light and ambiance.
They also release negative ions, which help purify and clean the air around them. So there’s a lot of good reasons to use them.
But just how long does a candle last? When you light that taper or big round pillar, what can you expect in terms of candle burn times?
Obviously, burn times relate to the size and volume of the candle itself. But they also relate to the size and type of wicking used in the process.

We use only 100 per cent cotton wicks that are sized correctly for each candle. That sizing is important if you want to promote proper and even burns; no cratering, no fast melting, etc.
So here are the estimated burn times we have for the most popular candles we sell. These times can vary, depending on whether the room is drafty, but on balance these are what we estimate is the life span of each candle.

One safety point: be careful to place your candle on a plate or other non-flammable holder. You don’t want to burn or scorch your heirloom family table. And you certainly don’t want wax dripping all over the place.
Make sure not to leave candles unattended. A forgotten lit candle is still a risk. Keep a candle snuffer handy.
