Our Kootenay Wildflower forage is a delectable honey produced by our bees from a combination of flowers from alfalfa, clover, snowberry, vetch, sweet clover and other nectar-producing plants living in this verdant valley.

We practice holistic beekeeping and treat our bees with great care. We don’t pasteurize our honey, and in the extraction and production process we don’t heat it above nest temperature. That way we protect the incredible purity, flavour and rawness of our wonderful product.

The honeys our bees produce can change in colour and flavour seasonally, depending on weather and what’s in bloom at the time of honey flow. We don’t  blend honeys to make a unified product. That is what makes our honey so special: it is never really the same from one season to the next, and the flavours can subtly change.
