Apiary Technician – NEW POSTING 2025
We need a full-time beekeeper and field person capable of working in a very busy regional business! are you the right candidate interested in a rewarding long-term career? We pay above-industry wages and offer attractive benefits.
NOC 8431, full time (40+hrs/ wk) from March 24
Experience: You must have a minimum of one year/season working full-time on a Canadian style commercial apiary, have a clean valid driver’s license and not be allergic to bee stings. Knowledge of commercial beekeeping equipment and mechanical devices, a forklift operator’s certificate and First Aid Level 1 certification are all additional assets.
Duties: Caring for honeybees in the appropriate manner, coordinating the production of replacement bees & equipment; recognizing, reporting, monitoring hive health issues and applying appropriate treatment/controls; harvesting honey, pollen and beeswax. You may supervise a small team of workers, operate and maintain apiary equipment (including forklifts, cranes, trucks and pumps) and conduct bee yard maintenance. You will also be required to operate extractors and other honey house equipment and perform duties involving production of honey, wax and other goods we produce.
Wage: $21.00 to $28.00 per hour, depending on experience. Health and dental benefits package also available.
Applicants must be in good physical condition and be able to bend, crouch, kneel and withstand heavy lifting. Positions do require some evening, night and weekend work.

HONEY HOUSE PRODUCTION WORKER – NEW POSTING 2025
MARCH 3 – POSITION ON HOLD WHILE CANDIDATES ARE BEING INTERVIEWED
NOC 8431, full time (40+hrs/ wk) from March 24
Honey Bee Zen Apiaries/Swan Valley Honey is seeking a worker bee (production worker) (NOC 8431) for our busy honey production facility.
Experiience: You preferably have experience working in a food production/processing facility, but we will train applicants who do not have experience. You must not be allergic to bee stings.
You must be a self-starter and have a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Our operation produces honey, natural bodycare products and other hive-related products for distribution across Canada.
Experience with commercial kitchen processes, Square point-of-sale payment systems and other small business applications helpful but not required. We offer onsite training and mentorship.
Applicants must be in good physical condition and be able to bend, crouch, kneel and withstand heavy lifting. Positions require some weekend work.
Duties: Duties include regularly filling large volumes of orders for shipment, creaming large volumes of honey, making candles and bodycare products, serving customers at our farm store, helping to extract honey during production and the like. No two days are the same.
Wage: $21.00 to $28.00 per hour, depending on experience. Health and dental benefits package also available.
